Today we got woken up by the godforsaken bell at way too early in the morning, before we went out and did yoga with Selma. It was not fun, really hard, do not recommend (we do love Selma though). We had some normal breakfast, with some people choosing to eat outside, while others decided to eat inside on the floor on their yoga mats.
After the food we had a way too short break and then our first class, which was drama. It lasted for two hours, and we practiced all the scenes, but with our scripts.
After drama we all gathered outside for lunch. It was pasta, bread and different toppings. Selma almost died to a bee (you didn’t hear that from us), and then had singing, where we learned a new song “Stick to the Status Quo”. We also got our solos before having a quick break with the candy store, and moving on to dance class. We finished “Getcha’ Head in the Game” and started on the dance for “Stick to the Status Quo”.
After we finished the last dance, we found out that we needed some props for it. We then spent the rest of the evening getting creative and crafting the props ourselves, even though we did get interrupted by a bird that had found its way into the sleeping chamber. We had a lovely dinner which was pulled pork burger with potatoes.
After the dinner we went back to crafting where we found a moth, whom we named Chelsey. She was surprisingly tame, and kept flying around and even landing on us. After some time, we decided to bring her back outside. We went down to the campfire, where people were roasting marshmallows. We set the moth free there and got a few marshmallows ourselves.
After a while the campfire was put out, and the solo lessons started. (no more arson, ☹)
The lessons went on for the rest of the evening, until everyone started going to bed.
It still feels freaky that this is only the third day of camp. It has been really fun, but I do miss my friends a bit (shoutout to Rod, Filippa and Chelsey).
