It’s Thursday July 11, it’s SRUSHTI’s birthday!!, we are officially one day away from show day. Everyone is working hard on creating a fun and memorable show, some are singing, some are dancing and others are trying to remember their lines for the show. We were woken up by the sound of the bells, we quickly brushed our teeth and some put on makeup (which took a long time). Then Laura led the morning yoga and summer camp dance (Which was very tiring). We ended morning yoga by running through the rain to return to the dorm to eat breakfast. Afterwards the bell rang and we prepared for dance class, where we learned a new dance that was called “What is this feeling”. It was a very complicated dance that includes us to move around the dance floor in a very short amount time. After lunch, we had drama class where we had to run through the entire show scene by scene and dance by dance. Following drama class, we lined up for the long awaited candy shop, we quickly ate our candies and ran to our next class which was also our last class of the day that was singing. We first started singing with singing exercises, later we went straight into our first song called “For Good”, afterwards we sang our other song, “Emerald City” where we danced and sang (Which was incredibly tiring). After dinner, we danced to our summer camp dance, and then our lovely chef Estaban baked a really delicious chocolate cake for our birthday girl Srushti. We ended our day with a good cup of tea and a warm bath.
