Hello parents, friends and others, its Krelle (Signe), Vic (Victoria), Ronja and Filippa, from the green group.
We woke up today by the horrid and traumatizing sound of the death-bell. Ann did wake us five minutes later than normal, which meant that we only had 25 minutes to get ready for yoga. We did yoga in the drama-tent as usual, with Mariya as our instructor.
After yoga, we had breakfast. Since the sun was shining, most people decided to sit outside and eat. For breakfast there was the usual (bread, cereal, fruit, etc.) but today was extra special, because our chef had made cinnamon rolls. They were a bit dry, but it still gave a nice touch to the start of the morning.
In the dance class we rehearsed all the dances, and also finished our newest dance, The Greatest Show. Then we went directly to drama, where we went through (almost) the entire show.
After that was done we had lunch, which was bread, spreads and omelet. We then had a well-deserved break, and went directly to singing class. In singing-class we once again impressed Mariya with our amazing singing and harmonizing skills, and even had time for an extra song, just for fun.
The break we had was spent mostly on practicing for the big night or talking and hanging out with friends.
Once the break was over, the bell rang and the red group got ready to perform their show, Ronja Robbers-Daughter. They did very well and got a whole lot of applause.
Afterwards, we had a round of performances which where all very beautiful, and the great Krelle did a dance to the song Covergirl by RuPaul.
We then had the show-day dinner, which was tortillas with nachos. It was delicious, people enjoyed it a lot.
When the dinner break ended, we had a few solo performances, before moving on to blue group’s show, which was Hairspray. They did an amazing job, especially the acting and dancing. We then had more solo/duo performances, before having a 10-minute ice cream break!!! We used that break to chat and go over the lines one last time, before we were called in for the last part of the show-day.
We of course started with even more solo performances, before it was finally our turn to perform.
We did The Greatest Showman, which was really fun and flew by super fast. Before we knew it, we had the last performances. For the very last performance, green group surprised everyone with a special song from Holy Musical B@man that we had secretly been rehearsing. Finally, the teachers also surprised the entire camp with an extra summer-camp song, which they sang and danced.
Now its time that we go, since its getting rather late.
See you all next year!
